It absorbs light instead of reflecting it, it never makes pleats shine, and it ages by developing patina rather than graying in patches. Wearing Experience Black that stays black : cotton poplin doesn't gloss at friction points, unlike synthetic knit. A waist that needs no adjustment : wide gathered elasticated waistband with drawstring sewn inside, nothing to button. A slit that lengthens : open at the front, it breaks the mid-calf line and refines the silhouette. Pockets that hold : two side pockets in the seam, plus a piped buttoned pocket at the back.
