Love Letters Silk Twilly Red wax-sealed envelopes, handwritten lines and powder pink ribbons succeed one another on the cream ribbon. Derived from the Love Letters scarf, this twilly retains the sweetness of correspondence. The twilly is a silk ribbon folded lengthwise, with tapered points: it wraps around a bag handle, ties at the neck as a fine necktie, at the wrist as a bracelet or in the hair on a ponytail. It is the lightest and easiest to wear silk accessory in the range. Wearing Experience Pink and seal red soften a black or navy bag. At the wrist, the envelopes succeed one another like the beads of a bracelet. Wrapped in a spiral on a bag handle, it holds without slipping: the silk catches on itself and the flat knot ends the spiral. At the neck, it ties in a small knot on the side or as a fine necktie under a collar: two turns are enough. Craftsmanship & Material The Love Letters twilly is printed in Italy on a natural silk twill 100% silk, the same tight weave with discreet diagonal as our 90 scarves, recognizable by its dense hand and resistance to wrinkles. The printing is done in high definition, which restores the engraving line of the design, then fixed to withstand hand washing. The edges are hand-rolled: rolled and hand-stitched, never machine-overcast. The twilly is printed on a 12 cm twill band, then folded in half lengthwise and hand-rolled on its edges: the finished ribbon is 6 cm wide and 90 cm long, with both points cut on the bias. The design is composed for half visible once folded, and is read on both sides. Care for Your Piece The twilly washes flat in a few minutes, dries flat by pulling the points, and barely needs ironing: it is the simplest silk piece to care for.
